Snow Motion is the first Manitoba club for recreational skijoring and kick sledding enthusiasts. Founded in the fall of 1997, the club has been running strong ever since.

We're a group of people in the Winnipeg area, who want to have fun outside in winter with our family pets by getting together for group runs. It's a great way to socialize and exercise our dogs, and we're great company for each other on the trails.

Snow Motion runs on Sunday mornings on trails in Winnipeg and area, and many members make friends they run with during the week. We also have Friday night runs at Assiniboine Forest. Some of our favourite runs include:

• The group use area 1 trail and the Spruce trail at Birds Hill Provincial Park, which the club books from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sundays during the winter months.
  
• La Barriere Park, where there is a skijoring and kick sledding trail, and the LaSalle River.
  
• The rivers which run through Winnipeg, once the ice is safe. We love the Forks River Trail.
